Trading in the complex electronica of Lamb, singer Lou Rhodes has forged a new path of simple folk, for which she received a 2006 Mercury Music nomination for her critically acclaimed debut album 'Beloved One'.
Second album Bloom is a continuation of what she began with Beloved One – it is a collection of tracks which, set free from the constrictions of electronic production, possess a startling power in their often unsettling honesty.
Following on from a spellbinding set at this year's Green Man, Lou Rhodes returns to Manchester to play this one-off show in the intimate setting of this beautiful church in Whalley Range.
With support from the wonderful Emma Tricca and Hedge favourite Paper Wives.
